We have attempted to make BizzleIt as simple to use as possible, having all of our backend systems do all of the hard work! However, there are some things that's best to get your head around first to make the most out of our platform.
Both businesses and personal users have access to a profile on BizzleIt. It is not mandatory for users to complete and spruce up their profiles but it is something that we do definitely recommend and push.
Profiles are a chance for businesses to show off their brand, receive reviews, publicise their latest offers and products, whilst serving as a nice platform where personal users are able to showcase reviews they've left for businesses.
To create the perfect profile, you must start with having clear and suitable images, with priority laying with the profile picture. The recommended size of the profile picture is 190x190 pixels, with a max file size of 2MB.
Once you have selected a profile picture, it is now time to choose a cover photo for your profile. We recommend using a cover photo with the dimensions of 1500x300 pixels, but this may vary as it does scale based upon a users browser window.
People want to know about your business, so we have provided enough fields for your business to explain who you are, what you do and why you do it. We allow for you to showcase your slogan, about information and industry.
After people have shown initial interest and have read up on who you are, they will then need to contact you. You are able to provide the following contact details: phone number, email address, website url, facebook and twitter handles, along with your business's current location.
We have a wide variety of industries available to choose from, but if your business does not fit into our selection of industries, then you can either find the nearest match or leave us some feedback to add your industry to our list.
Most of our system is powered by location, so entering a valid and efficient location is crucial, also required!
Location is a city, so choose your nearest city/town when entering your location. We do allow for a full address, but the location for searching and offers is always via location/city.
You are able to choose to show a map on your profile if you choose to, simply uncheck or check the 'Shop Map' checkbox.
We've attempted to make searching not only fair for small businesses, but also practical and quick for those on the go or looking to find an emergency product, whether that's a cheeky beverage or a quick haircut.
The first and most crucial part of information required when performing a search on BizzleIt is the search term that you choose to enter, this can be a product, service or business name.
We recommend to not type in for example 'cars in manchester', or 'cars manchester' and only type in 'cars', then leave the location to the next section.
Location is optional, but we understand that sometimes it is rewarding and convenient to use a local business for services and products.
Simply type the first three characters of a location city into this box and select the city that you want to search within.
Hit Search as hard as you can! Joking... don't go breaking your keyboards or touchscreens!
'Tap' Search and let our system work its magic.
Hard to see here, but the search results will then appear and will load in a rotating order, in essence randomly generating the results based within your search preferences.
If 15 results appeared, then upon 'tapping' Search or refreshing your browsers page, the same results will appear but in a new order allowing you to give different businesses a chance or to find the right one for you.
Look out for the orange View Offers button, this represents that this business currently has active offers right now, enabling you to find the best deals for the services and products you're requiring.
Offers & Products
Creating offers is only available to business users and is not available for personal users of the website and app.
We have made creating an offer as simple as creating a tweet or an Instagram post.
An image is a strong impact for users to acknowledge exactly what your offer, product or even service is in regards to. Allowing users to associate and engage, meaning that a powerful image will go far!
Our image aspect ratio is always as a square (e.g. 500x500px)
Give your offer or product a punchy title to backup the bold statement that your image has just made upon a user. Althoug we've found images are visually the most important, titles are equally as sufficient.
Describe the product, service or offer to the best of your ability, giving a user all of the information they could possibly need.
Providing a link to a website to claim the offer is not required incase you do not have a website to promote or claim the offer on. Leave this blank if it is in-store/on BizzleIt only.
If you provide coupon codes with your offers, discounts and products then place them in this box. This will allow a user to copy and use this coupon code wherever you point them to in order to claim the offer; again, this is optional and not required.
Once you have successfully created your offer, it will be positioned in your Offers & Products page, where you are able to delete the offer and create others.
It will now also be visible to users looking for offers and products on the BizzleIt platform.
Everyone has their favourites, but favouriting on BizzleIt is not just having favourites, but showing appreciation to a business who provides a great service that you would like to use again and again.
Favouriting a business is our equivalent to following on Twitter, liking on Facebook and connecting on LinkedIn.
You can only favourite a business if you are a user on BizzleIt, both personal and business users are able to favourite businesses.
When a favourite button has a white background, this indicates that this business has not been favourited by you.
When a favourite button has a red background, this indicates that this business has been favourited by you.
You can then locate all of your favourited businesses on the 'Favourites' page in your menu when logged in.
Creating and sending a message is easy and similar to other platforms messaging systems.
You will be able to click the white and green message button on business and personal user profiles.
You will then be taken to the messages page where you can create and send your message.
You can then view your conversations and messages with other BizzleIt users on your messages page when logged in.
On BizzleIt we have developed a fool proof system where SEO and the costs of online marketing with search engine algorithms are a thing of the past. We believe in our system doing all of the hard and you as the user having a simple task in order to grow the exposure and brand awareness of your business.
Adding a keyword is simple on BizzleIt. Type in a word or phrase that users will be entering into our search engine, most commonly a relevant word to your business name, product or service.
Then click add and the word will appear in the panel on the right side. We recommend to use plural terms where applicable. For example if you are a 'convenience store', add 'convenience stores' to cover all bases.
Gold and Platinum business membership users have access to their accounts statistics panel. This is a place where you are able to monitor just how well and how much impact BizzleIt is having for you and your business.
The favourites section adds up the amount of favourites your business has received in the last 24 hours and in total, including those who have unfavourited your business so that you can compare this number with current favourites.
Here the total number of reviews for your business is added up and then works out an average based upon their feedback rating score for your products and services.
When a user of our website and app perform a search using one of your keywords or business name and when you appear in the search results, this counts as 1 time you've been searched.
If you provide a website link within your business's profile page, when this is then clicked, this accounts for a single website click through to your website.
